Belarus Orthodox Church Renovation Project

Preserving History: Church Renovation Project in Toronto

Luar Contracting proudly undertook the renovation of a historic underground church in St.Clarence ave, Toronto, originally built in 1924. Decades of wear had left the structure in a severely deteriorated state, with water leaks, rotten walls, and decayed bricks and frames. Our team implemented comprehensive moisture insulation both inside and outside to prevent further damage and restore the building’s structural integrity. This delicate process required preserving as much of the original structure as possible while addressing critical repairs to ensure its longevity.

Careful Restoration and Interior Finishing

The Toronto church renovation demanded a thoughtful approach to balance modern restoration techniques with the preservation of its historic charm. Luar Contracting meticulously restored key interior elements, including the revitalization of the stairs and the complete finishing of the toilets, blending functionality with timeless design. Despite the challenges posed by the fragile condition of the structure, the project successfully transformed the space into a restored and functional landmark, preserving its legacy for future generations.
